I was born and raised in Wausau, WI. In 1972 I started working at what was then known as Employers Mutual of Wausau Insurance Co. with the Wausau train depot as their logo. My career with them ended in October, 1979 when I moved to Los Angeles, CA. Quite the experience and quite short. I stepped off the airplane in Mosinee, WI on February 14, 1980 and have been in Stevens Point, WI since then.
In late 1980 I began working part time for Neale Insurance Agency for a short time until I secured a position as Personal Lines Underwriter at Sentry Insurance until 1986 when I went back to Neale Insurance Agency to work full time and fulfilled a perpetuation agreement with Jim Neale in 1990. In 1997 I sold the agency to the current owner, Lloyd Ott and have continued my career with Full Service Insurance agency to date.
